The McCracken County PVA office is in need of a full time inspector. Our inspectors are information gatherers. They visit properties to measure building sizes, collect building characteristics and take photos. Speaking to property owners in a professional and respectful manner is an important part of the job.
Inspectors must be computer literate and trainable to use new programs. Inspectors take photos and enter building characteristics into a website using an iPad. Inspectors will be trained to create a sketch of each structure in our Apex sketching software. Knowledge of building construction is a plus.

- Full time, 5 days per week, 8am to 4:30pm

- Pay is $17.26 per hour with 5% raise after 6 months
- Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record, no criminal history
- Must be physically fit to walk around a variety of properties including stairways
